DDS were invited to the launch of a new company Qire at the Met Quarter Liverpool.
Qire are a company specialising in communications to customers via Interactive Voice, SMS text and email messaging.
DDS have worked with the principals from Qire over many years developing data products and were pleased to add their support to the launch and wish them every success in the future.

Guy Cooper (Director Qire), Adrian Adams (Director DDS) and Dave Todd (EDS)
DDS are expanding and looking for larger premises in the Liverpool area, watch this space for future developments.
DDS entertained clients at the England /France Six Nations game, the consensus before the match was that England were going to get beaten, however a great day was had by all. The sun shone, the food and drink flowed and most importantly England beat France.
Even those with little understanding of rugby got caught up in the atmosphere and enjoyed the occasion. Austin Healy was an excellent host for the day which was rounded off by a visit from 5 of the victorious England team including man of the match Tom Rees, Captain Mike Catt and ex captain Martin Corry. Although battered and bruised the 5 took their time to answer questions from those of us in the Players Lounge.
Lisa Patel (Software Developer) joined the DDS team on 18 September 2006 after completing her computing degrees. She will be involved in developing systems to manage contact history and statistics. After graduating Lisa enjoyed herself with a two month break in America and in particular enjoyed Las Vegas; she is now looking forward to applying her skills on behalf of our clients. (If you want to know how to play black jack give her a call).
An independent survey has identified a doubling of the abuse of data laws. In the main companies are targeting names more times than they have paid for, the most common abusers are the utility companies.
The main cause is not companies deliberately 'stealing' data but they are not managing the files correctly. Many companies have introduced CRM packages but they haven't got their processes right.
